After mornings full of freshly baked bread and coffee, afternoons spent in museums and art galleries, and evenings eating good food and drinking wine it was time to return home from the lovely little Parisian apartment on Rue Bichat by Canal Saint-Martin.

We visited le Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle, Catacombes de Paris, musée du Louvre, and of course, the Eiffel Tower. A lot of time was spent meandering through the side roads and enjoying the quieter, less tourist infested districts - and how silly it would have been to have visited Paris and not taken the time to browse the shelves of a traditional French pharmacy.

I've included a few photographs of our time in Paris from the gorgeous Parisian skyline to the ridiculously lavish ceilings of the Louvre, if you'd like to see more I will be posting them on my photoblog over the next few days.
