Note To Self #2

mask / cleanser / elixir / bag / dress / perfume

If something works I stick with it until it's all gone because constantly switching products can only result in unhappy skin. My (first step) cleanser, face mask, and overnight intensive moisturiser are all rapidly depleting so I've been eyeing up their replacements. The Aesop Parsley Seed Mask has been on my 'to buy' list for so long now I feel like it's about time I bought it and I've been considering the Mario Badescu range for just as long; this Enzyme Cleansing Gel looks ideal. For overnight rehydration I'm considering Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate because it sounds divine and I've yet to try a product quite like it.

Total non-essentials include yet another black dress to add to the wardrobe full of them; this Monki Oda dress isn't quite what I'm looking for but it's still pretty and that Zara Office Bag just looks perfect and I haven't seen an alternative I prefer. Finally I feel like I really need more roses in my life in the name of Paul Smith Rose Eau de Parfum.

  1. I finally splurged on the Parlsey Seed Mask and am so glad I did, I really love it and think it's worth every penny. The Midnight Recovery Oil I'm still on the fence about.

  2. The Parsley Seed Mask has been on my list to buy too :)

I'm probably going to wait for the Christmas sales on Feel Unique/Look Fantastic now just to see if they have any money off on the things I want to try as I'm not buying anything else now other than Christmas presents for people.

Mario Badescu does an exfoliating toner that I've wanted to try, cheaper than the alternatives such as Clarins and P50.

All these things look lovely, but, above all else, I definitely recommend getting the Aesop Parsley Seed Mask. That stuff is amazing!

The Aesop mask is lovely, really de-gunks your pores but it doesn't dry out your skin either :)
