I like to keep the bedroom as clutter-free as possible, keeping only the bare minimum on the nightstand. In addition to these sparse few items there are occasionally an assortment of candles planted there alongside a cup of chamomile tea, the alarm clock, and even the phone that is technically banned from the bedroom. But these are the most important:
1. Bedtime reading. The precious hour or so before sleep is reserved for a good book.
2. Overnight treatments. An intense moisturiser for boosting hydration and the best lip treatment ever.
3. Writing materials. For those ideas that inevitably turn up unannounced, right before drifting off to sleep.
That notebook is really cute!

That might just be the most amazing notebook I've ever seen. I just checked out the Pai & Pear shop on Etsy and have fallen in love with it - thank you!
