This was difficult since the majority of books I read are often disturbing, depressing, or downright difficult to stomach during something as sensitive as flying. I think I finally managed to pick a pretty good selection of books for both long and short haul flights.
| Affluenza by Oliver James
| The Secret History by Donna Tartt
| The Unbearable Lightness of Being by Milan Kundera
| The Orchid Thief by Susan Orlean
| Everything Is Illuminated by Jonathan Safran Foer
| Modern Baptists by James Wilcox
| The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time by Mark Haddon
| Not That Kind of Girl by Lena Dunham
| The Life of Pi by Yann Martel
| Hey Nostradamus! by Douglas Coupland
| Bossypants by Tina Fey
| Notes on a Scandal by Zoe Heller
Definitely will check these out, flights are a pain!x

On my last few flights, I read John Williams' Stoner and Peter Mendelsund's What We See When We Read. :)
ReplyDeleteAffluenza is SUCH a good read - I go totally stuck into this last year and couldn't put it down. I've been reading the Opposite of Loneliness lately which is a pretty good airplane read I reckon!
