The Streets Of New York

New York

I wish I had taken more photographs of the streets of New York but it was so hard to capture the busy nature of this city in single photographs - you just have to experience it. New York was amazing; this city is every bit as eclectic as you imagine it to be.

We stayed in the East Village of Manhattan right by Tompkins Square Park; we ate (too many) bagels from Tompkins Bagels; visited the Bronx Zoo; explored the American Museum of Natural History for hours; drank coffee at Stumptown (amazing coffee, amazing building) and Blue Bottle Coffee (which I loathed for its pretentiousness); ate the most delicious pizza at Paulie Gee's; finally saw the enlightening Body Worlds exhibition; found the hidden burger joint in Le Parker Meridien; experienced Sleep No More's "Inferno" at the McKittrick Hotel, which was indescribably mind blowing; ate at Momofuku; viewed artwork at MoMA including the Henri Matisse exhibition; narrowly avoided being crushed at the Village Halloween Parade; grabbed lunch at Amy's Bread; spent some dollars in Sephora; visited the Evolution Store; experienced proper Cuban-Mexican food at Cafe Habana; explored the city and its streets from The High Line and drank at some pretty awesome bars.

I would go back in a heartbeat.
