Goals for 2015

Goals for 2015

A lot changed in 2014 - I quit my job, moved to Birmingham, and became full time self-employed - and I have been thinking about what I want to achieve in the future in regards to not only my business and blogging but my personal goals.

Hit financial, mailing list and social media targets
Financial targets are hugely important for businesses and I'm well on my way to achieving my goal at the end of the financial year. Subscriber and follower targets are equally as important for extending outreach and brand awareness.

Photograph a Lookbook
This is something I started to do at the end of 2014 but it required a lot more planning than I had envisioned; I want to pick up where I left off and schedule in a photoshoot once the days start getting longer and the light gets a lot better.

Gain more international stockists
Oh My Clumsy Heart currently has 15 wholesale stockists, the majority of which are within the UK. I want to extend the list of stockists to more international shops outside of the EU.

Introduce a new collection
I have plans to introduce a new range of designs using new metals. I'm excited but these things take a lot of preparation.

Adjust the content balance
The Private Life of a Girl is changing; I'm looking forward to introducing more creative lifestyle and small business along with travel and lifestyle posts, while easing off the fashion and beauty content. I want to embrace a more personal approach to blogging.

Become a resource
I'm incredibly passionate about helping others; without the free advice and support I received with Oh My Clumsy Heart, I wouldn't have achieved what I have. I want to give back by providing free advice on pursuing a creative lifestyle but in a less formal, more personal way.

Write a series of eBooks
I have plans to write a series of free eBooks that can be downloaded and shared with anyone needing a little support and guidance with creating a business or blog and developing creative confidence.

Do yoga every day
Along with a twenty minute walk each day, I used to swim three times a week, every week and do yoga. Since moving to Birmingham and no longer having to commute, my daily exercise is virtually zero. This needs to change.

Travel more
There are several places around the world I'd like to visit but when I say "travel more" I'm not just talking about other countries; I want to explore, go on day trips and take more weekend city breaks within the UK.
