I can't believe this blog is only two - so much has changed in what feels like such a short amount of time. Last year I shared what I learned from one year of blogging, now a whole year has passed I have learned a whole lot more.
#1 Things change - your space, your friends, your opinions
#2 Knowing why you do what you do is important
#3 Reviewing your reasons regularly is crucial
#4 If you don't feel OK with something, don't do it
#5 If something doesn't feel right, don't do it
#6 Just because you can make money doesn’t mean you have to
#7 It’s OK to try stuff out just to see how you feel about it
#8 10,000 readers seems to be a milestone that changes some bloggers
#9 Blogging is great for business (but only if it’s done with genuine passion)
#10 Juggling a business, blog, and a busy life can be tough
#11 The more you write, the more ideas you’ll have
#12 But sometimes you will need to take a break
#13 Blogging should be an enjoyable habit
#14 An editorial calendar is super useful
#15 Your own archives can be a source of inspiration
#16 Keep things fresh and blogging won't get boring
#17 Consume less, create more
Thank you to everyone who reads this blog ♥
Blogging should be enjoyable, and isn't it lovely - the way we can draw inspiration from our old work.

I feel same with 1, 11 and 15. Been blogging for 2 years now and I bet, my space and friends has changed. There is one I want to add: I have become 10x knowledgeable than I use to be!

#17 is so so true. I forget this VERY easily however, but I really am much happier when creating things than buying things.
ReplyDeleteI have blogged for years and I have learnt so much! You are right about changes, things change. Happy 2 years of blogging, amazing stuff because reading your blog is like you have been blogging for years. You are a natural!

"The more you write, the more ideas you'll have." It has taken me at least five years to learn this. Even just writing nonsense on a sheet will bring ideas. Just writing more for myself has completely changed how I feel when I sit down to blog. Keep up the great work!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant, brilliant learning tips - the 10k one is very interesting indeed, and it certainly is tough juggling a blog with life

ReplyDeleteI feel like it's a turning point, I think it's when people realise they can really make money from their blogs and they make decisions that change the way they blog.
ReplyDeleteWe often believe we will "run out of ideas" and this idea that post daily means we're choosing quantity over quality - I don't believe any of it.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!
ReplyDeleteI'm very cautious now about how much I consume.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Sarah!
