I've really been putting a dent in the Bobbi Brown Rich Chocolate Palette, using it almost daily to create a soft, natural finish; I pair light fawn shades and subdued pinks for a look that is just so perfect for at home and in the office.

Le Blanc De Chanel creates a soft focused based that blurs imperfections and creates a beautifully illuminated glow that shines through the sheer coverage of Chanel Vitalumière Aqua. I blend the tiniest amount of Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer into the skin to conceal and correct. I fill my brows in with Rich Chocolate from the Bobbi Brown Palette; using Frappe, a fawn shade, all over the lid blending out at the edges for a soft, subtle finish. I line the eyes using the Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner in Espresso Ink and give the lashes a light coat of mascara. Rimmel Santa Rose gives the cheeks a gentle flush of natural peach toned pink and with Kevyn Aucoin Candlelight Celestial Powder swept across the cheekbones, this creates a light, fresh, radiant finish. Finally I apply Rimmel Notting Hill Nude, a subtle natural shade of pink that is comfortable enough to wear all day. |
I tried Le Blanc and Vita Aqua together the other day and i couldn't stop staring at my face, match made in heaven!
ReplyDeleteI definitely need to pick the Le Blanc base and another one of the Vitalumiere Aqua, it looks so beautiful and natural on you :)

It's unbelievable how flawless you get your hair looking, ALL THE SHINE. I'm nearing the end of my (semi) spending ban and the Le Blanc de Chanel is top of my 'to buy' list - probably as soon as the clock strikes midnight on Feb 1st x
ReplyDeleteI love your pictures!! The Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua is one of my favorite and oh my god! I hear a lot about the Kevin Au coin face makeup at the moment. I SHOULD probably try some :)

Pretty pretty girl! What mascara do you typically use? I kind of just realized you never really post about mascara ;)

Thanks! <3
ReplyDeleteMascara kind of bores me, I don't get why people buy so many tubes! I have a super favourite the Max Factor False Lash Effect and the Origins Ginzing Mascara is REALLY good too. I figure, mascara isn't so interesting. If you find one that works, stick with it. That's probably why I don't really talk about it much :))
It's my absolute favourite
ReplyDeleteYou definitely should - they're amazing!
ReplyDeleteThank you :))
ReplyDeleteThank you!
ReplyDeleteAqua is SUPER amazing right? I absolutely love it and the Kevyn Aucoin products are just divine.
Ha! The funny thing is my hair used to be in really bad shape, at once point (years ago) it was falling out and it used to be SUPER thick but now it's really fine. Now it has killer shine :))
ReplyDeleteMy Le Blanc de Chanel is running out and I just have to replace it.. it's amazing.
Thanks <3
ReplyDeleteUgh yeah, I chased the palette down SO HARD because it sold out twice before I came to my senses and realised I would regret it if I didn't pick it up. I'm so pleased I did. You could make a custom Inglot palette with similar colours though? That is what I'm going to do when this has been used up.
ReplyDeleteOh the gel liner is AMAZING. Sometimes it can fade a little during the day depending on what eye shadow I pair with it, but otherwise it's AMAZING.
It just makes your skin look flawless doesn't it??
ReplyDeleteAhhh I totally get it. I only ever use the same mascara too. It's the Clinique Lash Doubling. Why mess with something that works right?
ReplyDeleteThank you :) I think I will pick that up at some point this year. I use the Illamasqua Eye Liner Cake which is pretty awesome too but I wouldn't mind trying a gel formula x
ReplyDeleteOh my lord, major fringe envy! Totally gorgeous x
ReplyDeleteso happy you shared this, love this look!
