Berlin's Museum of Natural History is compact yet awe-inducing. The collection contains over 30 million items including native animals, dinosaurs, minerals, and an incredible wet specimen research centre.

We have visited the Museum für Naturkunde before and the taxidermy collection of native animals remains a firm favourite of mine. The dioramas created between 1918 and 1925 are beautiful, well lit, and exceptionally well cared for. During our visit there was an amazing temporary panda exhibition which was showing the history of pandas and our relationship with them, including absolutely stunning taxidermy specimins.
