Eden Project

Eden Project

Nothing I can say about this place will convey how inspiring it is to visit; no amount of photographs will do it justice. The Eden Project has been on my list of places to visit for years and I'm so grateful I finally visited this wondrous place. It's everything I dreamed it would be and more with vast gardens and biomes housing a diverse collection of plants.

Built in a reclaimed china clay pit, the map shows you just how vast the Eden Project is. We spent literally all day there, from opening to close, exploring the mediterranean and rainforest biomes, exhibitions, and outdoor gardens. We missed the titan arum blooming by a few weeks but got an opportunity to view the rainforest from above on the frighteningly high viewing platform.

If you have the opportunity to visit the Eden Project, I highly recommend you do. It left me feeling inspired and in awe of the natural world, the beauty it contains and how we're changing it, for the better and the worse.

Is the Eden Project dog friendly?

Dogs are allowed at the Eden Project—but it's not a dog-friendly place to visit. While the Eden Project states it is a dog-friendly attraction, the only place dogs are allowed to visit on site are the outdoor trails and Visitor Centre. Dogs are not allowed in any of the Biomes, play areas, or even any of the undercover areas.
