Cosy Games

I don't talk about my love for games all that often but I play them every day. It's the one thing that's kept me entertained and feeling good throughout the entire pandemic. When I couldn't muster the concentration required to read a book or didn't have the enthusiasm needed to watch a film, video games were there for me.

Maybe you're a keen gamer looking for some fresh recommendations, or perhaps you've never really played games before and are looking for a good place to start. I'm sharing my favourite wholesome cosy games to make you feel relaxed and chilled when the world outside feels unbearable.

This list includes relaxing indie puzzle, adventure, exploration, sandbox, and hidden object games. They're in alphabetical order with the ones I highly recommend playing are highlightened in pink. Most are available on Steam with a few exclusively on Switch, and many are available across multiple computers, consoles, and mobile apps.
