The Streets of Birmingham
30.4.15
I'm hoping to make more time for exploring the streets of this city. I really appreciate the architecture of Birmingham, there is something charming about its old abandoned warehouses and rundown factories. The city is a little messy and rough around the edges, but I like it a lot. It feels like home.

I love how crisp and bright your photos are! Just felt like telling you :)
ReplyDeleteThese are lovely :) Also, not saying you should move to Australia haha I was just saying that its crazy what doors open up when you reevaluate what you are doing. Somehow we ended up across the ocean with a toddler!
ReplyDeleteYour pictures have given me such a different impression of Birmingham! I lived there for 3 years because I went to uni there, although I went to Aston which is in the city center. When I went to visit friends who lived out, I was shocked at how different everything was to the city center. I come from London so I'm used to all sorts, but I just found the contrast shocking! Your pictures also show a different part for me, and that's lovely and interesting.
ReplyDeleteI love Birmingham, especially the abandoned places.

Looks a bit industrial and cool. I never made it up there when I lived in London. May your weekend be filled with local adventures :)

Birmingham is a little ugly but I love it for that - it's totally worth a visit :))
ReplyDeleteThank you so much - I love dirty cities :))
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I will definitely check that out.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
ReplyDeleteThere are so many awesome abandoned buildings to investigate.
ReplyDeleteI live right by the city centre, I live in the Jewellery Quarter :)) It's a really nice area to live in because it has small village vibes but the city centre is super close. I love the surrounding area just outside of the centre as well, everything changes and it looks wonderful.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
