During lockdown many of us became dog guardians for the first time. After searching websites, trawling online reviews, and checking social accounts; I quickly discovered how tricky venues make it to find out whether they are dog-friendly without making a phone call or sending an (often unanswered) Instagram DM.
Left wondering where I could take my companion, and not wanting to be turned away at the door, I compiled this dog-friendly guide to Birmingham. For ease of reading, I've grouped districts together (where it made sense to), and venues are split into sections: bars and pubs, restaurants, cafes and coffee shops, and hotels.
